In these projects, I try to express non-fictional information in the plot of a story to engage kids in following the path line. This kind of fiction can be seen in historical fiction, for instance. This is one type of informational fiction since it tells a story within the context of real historical events. The Magic School Bus books are also an example of informational fiction since the characters and storyline are fiction, but the scientific facts in the text are true.
